Tracked Pavers
"The Vögele holds grade on a 12-inch lift better than anything else we've run — 4 years, zero screed cracks."
Wheeled Pavers
"Tight subdivision cul-de-sacs, the Cat AP600F maneuvers where a tracked machine would tear up your base."
Commercial Class
"For a two-man crew doing commercial lots, the LeeBoy is the only machine that makes economic sense at our scale."
Highway Class
"The Dynapac SD2550WS laid 22 miles of I-76 resurfacing without a single unplanned shutdown. That's the verdict."
From the Cab. Unfiltered.
Long-form accounts from operators who ran these machines across real contracts — highway resurfacing, airport taxiways, commercial lots.
We ran the Vögele SUPER 1900-3i and a Cat AP1000F side by side for 14 miles of state highway. The Vögele held International Roughness Index under 50 in/mi start to finish. The Cat needed three screed adjustments on the same stretch. When you're billing against IRI specs, that difference is money.

I've been running LeeBoy equipment for eleven years. The 8616B is the first machine where my mechanic doesn't dread Monday morning. Hydraulic system is straightforward, parts ship from three distributors within 200 miles, and the screed heats faster than anything else in the commercial class. For a small contractor doing parking structures and subdivision streets, the total cost of ownership calculation is not close.

Airport taxiway work has zero tolerance for grade deviation. We spec'd the Bomag BF 800 C-2 against the Dynapac SD2550WS for a regional airport expansion. Dynapac's Compaction-Ready System gave us real-time density readout we could hand directly to the airport authority's inspector. Cut our QA documentation time by 40%. That alone justified the price delta.
